Prof. Dr. Inanc Mendilcioglu was born on July 11, 1969 in Izmir. He was graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School. He got his medical degree from Ege University, Izmir. Upon completing his medical degree, Professor Mendilcioğlu started his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Akdeniz University, Antalya. After completing his residency in 1999, he continued as a faculty member in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Akdeniz University.

He served as a postdoctoral fellow in Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department at Yale Univesity in 2000-2001. He received Perinatology fellowship certificate in 2011. He is working as a faculty member in Division of Perinatology , Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Akdeniz University. He is a member of executive committee of Turkish Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and Perinatology .
